ALERT: Adobe Submissions to Grants.gov Experiencing Problems
June 13, 2008Grants.gov is experiencing problems accepting some proposals that are in the new Adobe forms. Because of this, we strongly recommend that any such proposal be ready for submission by your Sponsored Program Officer no later than two full working days before the submission deadline. That way if the submission initially fails, there is still time to work with staff at Grants.gov to get the package successfully transmitted.
The issues we are experiencing with Adobe packages do not affect proposals that you submit through Cayuse or proposals that use the PureEdge forms. However, because Grants.gov does change things there can be impacts for any proposal; the earlier we can submit proposals, the better.
