The Health Sciences Office (HSO) provides pre-award services to researchers in the Colleges of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Optometry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine, as well as the Office of Health Services.
Each college or department is assigned a sponsored the program officer who assists principal investigators with the development, preparation, and submission of research proposals. When received, awards are negotiated, executed, and transferred to post-award personnel at Kenny Road for project management.
